Department Overview

The Global Ad Technology Department (GATD) manages the whole of the advertising systems that power Rakuten. We are a cross-functional and data-driven organization working together in a diverse team spread across five countries: Japan, Singapore, India, China and UK.

The role has the responsibility of our online marketing platform development. As a Junior DevOps Engineer in the team, you will be exposed to advertisement domain as well as DevOps technical knowledge. You will be building and maintaining systems that support marketing activities efficiently. First, you must understand business requirements to manage and deploy critical business systems. Second, you will also be automating regular operations and proposing new ideas to increase overall productivity.
