Requirements:Diploma in Supply Chain or relevant field.
- 1 year of experience in a relevant field (Freight and logistic handling).
- Source, negotiate and manage Freight forwarders and its services for all our deliveries.
- Prepare and issue logistics/purchase requisition.
- Monitor Freight Forwarder’s performances (including Plant’s logistic performance) and perform cost reduction initiatives in all logistics activities.
- Coordinate with Purchasing, Plant Logistics Team and any other related HES departments, suppliers, vendors, forwarders/shipping agents etc for timely delivery of HES goods as stipulated in the contract/purchase order.
- Prepare and handle full set of shipping documents including LC documentation, Certificate of Origin, Insurances, Delivery order, packing list, debit note, release note, commercial invoice, monthly royalty report, etc.
- Coordinate with Finance team on shipping payment, invoices, Warranty and LC Negotiation.
- Monitor and update delivery status in system on a weekly basis. Work closely with Customer Service, Material Planning, Purchasing and Project fulfill order/ contract obligation.
- Compilation of related logistic activities and expenses report for management review.
- Engagement of Marine Surveyors and coordination with Mills Quality Engineer on all delivery inspection and expediting works.
- Attend weekly Logistics/supply chain meeting or any ad-hoc project/contract meetings as required.
- Interact and communicate with internal and external customers on order/ delivery status.
- Actively participate and involve in appropriate development of HSE matters in areas of hazard / incident identifications, risk assessments and determination of controls
- Ensure work activities and behaviour achieved conformity to the HSE policy, objectives and procedures outlined in the HSE management system and compliance to applicable local legal requirements
- Other Project and ad-hoc duties as per assigned by immediate superior or management.
