**About this role**

The videos on MS News greatly supplement the editorial content we run, we offer a range of videos in MS News, from live streaming, to explainer-style, to documentaries. We have routinely featured unique and prominent personalities in our videos.

Video Producers will need to be kept up to date on current affairs events, an eye for interesting profiles with stories to tell. A good understanding of news will also be required as you will tackle dialogues on social issues. A self-starter mentality and determined personality is crucial for success in this role.

**What will you do**
- Be confident and competent in show-running a video by yourself, from independently ideating at pre-production stage, to leading the production, to finally editing and cutting footage into a video ready to be published.
- Create video content regularly like current affair highlights, interesting meme videos, explainer - stitching videos, documentaries, etc
- Not be afraid of being exposed and trying different video editing techniques and trending styles
- Have a good sense of time management with a sense prioritisation, as we will often be straddling across a couple of videos at any one time

**Requirements**:

- Fresh grad or at least 1 year of relevant experience in the creative/media industry
- Meticulous & good eye for content/trending topics
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro
- Able to shoot & edit videos
- Have interest in doing documentary

**Salary**: $2,300.00 - $3,000.00 per month
