Our client, a service provider in the financial industry is urgently hiring a

**Senior Officer, Risk & Control
**Role Summary
This role will ensure that all regulated and unregulated business is carried out in accordance with regulatory requirements, aligned with the Company’s strategy and meet the highest standards.

**Responsibilities:
The individual will be expected to undertake the below and other tasks, as assigned from time to time.
- Demonstrable hands-on experience with regulatory requirements for IOSCO Principles for Benchmarks and Benchmark Regulation.
- Analyse regulatory updates affecting the business
- Provide independent challenge, oversight and support to the business divisions
- Act as a delegate for meetings where requested
- Provide support in relation to Oversight and Governance Committees, including collating management information
- Write written reports for a number of governance forums
- Oversee the control framework to ensure adherence to controls

**Requirements**:

- Good documentation skills with the ability to articulate complex topics in a concise and articulate manner.
- Ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Encourage a good culture of compliance
- Act with integrity and due skill, care and diligence in carrying out your duties
