The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) is Singapore’s central bank and integrated financial regulator.

The Financial Markets Development Department is looking for self-motivated individuals to be responsible for promoting and developing Singapore as a leading centre for trade finance. In this position, you will need to:

- Monitor global and regional trade finance developments and innovation, assess impact on and identify areas of growth for Singapore
- Develop and execute strategies to enhance Singapore's position as a leading trade finance hub
- Develop strategic tools and initiatives to increase both digitalisation of trade finance and sustainable trade finance
- Work closely with industry associations, conferences and other stakeholders to develop thought leadership

**Requirements**:

- Good working knowledge of trade finance, in particular, trade finance products and processes as well as financial market infrastructure.
- Strong project management skills. Able to lead industry-wide project and align interest of multiple stakeholders.
- High self-drive and ability to work independently.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work at both the conceptual and operational levels.
- Keen interest in the public sector and strong interpersonal skills to interact with financial industry practitioners, corporates and other professionals.
- You will be working in a fast-paced environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and needs of stakeholders, as well as the agility to respond to changes and developments.
