Functional Relationships with: Production, Product Design, Procurement, Maintenance

**POSITION PROFILE**:
Based in: Singapore

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Perform metal forming & sealing Automation equipment and tool & jig Design, Commissioning and Handover to production
- Project management in plan and execution of activities, following equipment management procedure for execution.
- Implement design, yield and downtime improvement that meets function and cost requirements, Lead Machine and Quality Improvement Activities, Equipment Installation, Equipment Downtime Recovery and Problem Solving
- Support production or maintenance group in equipment related trouble analysis with statistical tools and counter-measure implementation.
- Train equipment personnel on equipment requirement and control.
**Ability / Competency Required**:

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 1 to 2 years’ **relevant working experience** or
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 5 years’ **relevant working experience**
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in **Lithium-Ion Battery Assembly** Metal forming & sealing Process Equipment Design/Automation
- Lithium-Ion Battery Safety Knowledge.
- Knowledge of CAD, Solidworks, material knowledge, formulation of new equipment design concept
- Able to work well as a team player while being independent and pro-active
- Positive attitude in a challenging work environment
- Good technical report writing and presentation skills.
- Able to work independently as well as multi-task.
