We currently offer the following position in our office in Singapore which will be hybrid.

You will be reporting to the Senior Manager, Ophthalmology. This global position is the driver of the process that convert customer needs into delivered Ophthalmology imaging platform solution and that maintain customer satisfaction.

The Product Manager, Ophthalmology Porfolio is a global business unit role which will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing of customer needs for Surgical Microscopes in Ophthalmology and respective market dynamics. S/he will define, plan, develop the appropriate Ophthalmology Microscopy platform portfolio roadmap and manage the relevant product life cycle including product basic material costs (BMC) and margin. The responsibility will also include the definition and quantification of business opportunities as well as the derivation of the strategic direction for the product development. Working with Senior Manager, Ophthalmology Porfolio to manage the Advisory Board completes the job specification of the position. We expect a forward looking, innovative development of the Ophthalmology Imaging platform to outperform competition and grow constantly product margin via cost optimization and standardization. S/he has cross-functional responsibilities, which require cooperating with various departments within the company (Advanced Imaging Applications, Business Management, sales, R&D, RA/QA, Corporate Marketing, Operations) and external partners.

**Your Responsibilities**:
STRATEGIC PRODUCT MANAGEMENT
- Based on Voice of customer,
- segment the market, define and quantify business opportunity;
- provide **strategic direction for product development**
- Within the frame of the Medical Strategic Plan, work out **priority** **for the product development** within the Ophthalmic imaging portfolio **(Product Roadmap).**

INNOVATION AND PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
- Lead **Voice of Customer (VOC**) and **Advisory Board** to gain deep understanding of customer pain points, insight and ensure that we not only **meet customer needs** but **have the most innovative imaging solutions** in the market.
- Identify customer pain points via VOC (Voice of Customer) in collaboration with Application teams and translate VOC into product ideas
- Create attractive Products and innovation and development together with all relevant stakeholders
- Scouts for new/disruptive solutions
- Based on the defined Product Roadmap, define **market requirement** based on VOC, and market analysis.
- Develop **business plan for new products (NPI workbook)** in terms of expected revenue and margin stream
- Support Medical Business Management team to work out Global **Market Positioning and Pricing Management**, including financial bridges and revenue recognition stream

**PRODUCT FIELD TEST**:

- Plan and implement **Product Field Testing and Validation Activities (Alpha/Beta)** in order to make sure the solution meets the User Requirements including test requirement, result evaluation and consolidation.

**PRODUCT LAUNCH**:

- Provide support to Business Management Team to achieve successful **product launch and phase-out**.
- Provide support for **Marketing Activities** to achieve business growth

**Your Profile**:

- Possess a Bachelor Degree in engineering or business administration with more than 3 years proven experience in Product Management, Sales or Marketing in life science, medical technology or imaging software industry.
- Demonstrated success in leading innovation project.
