Position: ASSISTANT PRODUCTION MANAGER
Location: Boon Lay

*Job Responsibilities*
- Review the weekly production schedules to optimize the utilization of manpower, materials and other resources in the respective departments, act as backup to Production Planners in scheduling activities
- Implement and ensure the Good Manufacturing Practice, personal hygiene and food safety concepts pertaining to FSSC 22000 requirements are rigorously adhered to by operators on the shop floor;
- Implement and enforces procedures to continually improve the safety, efficiency and capabilities of the Silesia Plant;
- Review any safety lapses or incidences related to activities undertaken by the Production staff, together with the Safety officer and Production Manager;
- Liaise with the Maintenance crew to address any plant equipment or instrument issues;
- Investigate any quality or food safety issues with QC & QA management, identify the root cause/s of the non-conforming material or product and decides on the next course of action;
- Liaise with the QC/QA management to ensure the Production premises are being maintained in accordance to the GMP & HACCP standards set by management;
- Active member of the FSSC 22000 food safety team and participates in the following activities:

- Conducts internal audit/s on a department or function as assigned by the Food Safety Team leader;
- Follows up on the findings as revealed in the internal audit conducted on the activities of the Maintenance department and undertakes the appropriate corrective actions;
- Maintain and ensure all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and internal training are up to date
- Assist Production Manager in leading improvement and annual CAPEX project rollout
- Maintain document management for first production and technical trials on production processes

**Salary**: $1,800.00 - $2,800.00 per month

- Local Polytechnic Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- GMP, pharmaceutical or food standards: 3 years (preferred)
