Manager, Screening, R&c Managed Services

Job Summary

Dow Jones is looking for a Manager to join our R&C Managed Services team responsible for performing AML risk-based review and analysis on individual and business accounts who match with Dow Jones Sanctions, Politically Exposed Persons and Adverse Media lists and adjudicate alerts accordingly for further review. As a Manager, you will lead and collaborate with a team of data analysts, quality analysts and delivery managers across time zones whose primary responsibility is to ensure timely and high quality deliveries to clients. This role requires a high level of ownership, critical thinking and the ability to effectively manage and develop team members who have a unique role within the overall team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about data and enjoys collaborating with different stakeholders to ensure our clients get the best quality results.

You Will
- Lead a team of data analysts, quality analysts and delivery managers across different time zones to ensure timely and successful delivery of our solutions to clients.
- Be a key representative of the R&C Managed Services team in dealings with clients, particularly strategic clients, working with partners in Sales and Product
- Communicate regularly with Sales and Clients to gather feedback and arrange necessary actions/follow ups if needed.
- Together with the Associate Director, R&C Managed Services, work with Product for assessing product enhancements based on internal or client feedback.
- Track and document team KPIs
- Proactively identify process improvements, capture business process requirements, and help translate these requirements into solutions to drive efficiency
- Hire, train, motivate and coach employees to provide attentive, efficient service to customers while achieving project deadlines.
- Ensure that the team members strictly adhere to the Dow Jones’ and client’s policies & procedures.
- Contribute to both team and product-initiated projects
- Build meaningful reports and dashboards that will create valuable insight and drive our operational decision-making

You Have
- Excellent English writing skills
- People management skills
- A professional attitude in client facing environments when working on-site at client offices
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with senior management as well as team members and peer groups
- Ability to work in a high pressure environment with strict tight deadlines
- Ability to analyse large datasets
- An openness to different views and opinions and an appreciation for team diversity

Preferred
- Team leadership experience
- Previous experience in AML Transaction Monitoring in a banking environment
- Previous experience with Factiva, Dow Jones Risk and Compliance (or similar products)
- Automation, data visualization skills are a plus
