Overview

We seek enthusiastic trainers with teaching experience to lead our workshops for primary and secondary schools on a freelance basis. Our workshops promote cyber safety and digital wellbeing, educate students and families on staying safe online, and guard against cyber risks such as cyberbullying, phishing scams, and fake news.

This job differs from most other training opportunities in a few critical ways:

- Extensive support, including trainer guides and prepared PowerPoint slides.
- Comprehensive training provided.

**Requirements**:
We are looking for freelance trainers who meet the following criteria:

- Exceptional speaking and facilitation skills.
- Proven experience conducting both virtual and in-person workshops.
- Availability on Saturday mornings when required.
- An interactive teaching style with the energy to keep students engaged.
- Confidence in responding to questions and requests from teachers.
- Excellent time management skills and reliability.
- Competence with online video streaming platforms, particularly Zoom.

Preferred but not required
- Familiar with cyber risks and online behaviours of children and teens, and topics such as digital citizenship
- A personal interest in gaming, social media, and online spaces.
- A good understanding of how the internet works, popular apps, and online trends.
