**About the Role**:
The Sr. DevSecOps Engineer plays a pivotal role in integrating security practices seamlessly into every phase of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), acting as a bridge between development, operations, and security teams.

Reporting to the Application Security Lead, you will be accountable for:
**Embedding Security into Development**
- Develop and maintain up-to-date DevSecOps standards and procedures and ensure they follow security best practices from NIST CSF, ISO27001, and OWASP.
- Design and implement automated security testing within CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous security validation.
- Establish security KPIs and metrics to monitor the effectiveness of implemented security measures.
- Identifies and proposes solutions that are cost-effective and long-term technologies.

**Process and Service Improvement**
- Act as a link between development, operations, and security teams to foster collaboration and improve overall security practices.
- Integrate tools for Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), Software Composition Analysis (SCA), and Interactive Application Security Testing (IAST).

Other responsibilities and duties as assigned.

**What we are looking for**:

- 5+ years' experience in DevOps / DevSecOps
- Experience with Application Security Tools (SAST, DAST, SCA, IAST)
- Experience with designing and building automations on security testing and integrating security testing to CI/CD
- Demonstrated experience working with cloudplatforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Demonstrated experience working with secure development lifecycle.
- Demonstrated experience working with APIs (REST, GraphQL)
- Experience talking to project teams, development teams and architects to explain the enforcement and embedding for security and building security gates from all the phases of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
