ROLE SUMMARY & PROFILE

Overview:
ING’s Financial Institutions (FI) sector combines relationship management, multi product sales and structured lending for Bank and Non-bank Financial Institutions (NBFI). NBFI clients include sponsors, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, pension funds, securities companies and asset managers.

FI Lending APAC (FIL) is responsible for all financing in Asia Pacific where the underlying exposure is to a Bank or a NBFI. Fund Finance APAC (FFA) and Insurance Sector Finance (ISF) are part of FIL in APAC. FFA supports funds clients with the provision of capital call facilities and other financing solutions. More broadly Fund Finance is a global business for ING, with teams in New York, London, Luxembourg, and Singapore. Insurance Sector Finance (ISF) provides lending and capital solutions to the global insurance and reinsurance industries, with teams in London and Singapore.

**Job Description**:
New Deal Origination / Execution- Produce and finalise credit papers, and discuss with risk management and other stakeholders- Completion of annual credit reviews and portfolio monitoring- Conduct due diligence, including business, credit, financial, regulatory, and legal diligence- Conduct loan pricing and high-level credit assessments to assist relationship managers- Prepare and present transaction proposals to internal stakeholders- Manage client onboarding, including set-up in ING systems and oversight of KYC process- Keeping up to date with ING’s legal policy requirements and general market trends

Portfolio Management- Prepare quarterly portfolio reports- Prepare annual risk rating updates- Process loan modification/amendment requests- Review ongoing reporting deliverables, including financials, compliance certificates, borrowing bases, and valuation reports- Distribute reporting deliverables to bank syndicates- Track covenant compliance- Prepare collateral monitoring reports- Manage portfolio valuation engagements and client audits- Manage ongoing KYC maintenance- Maintain various department and industry databases/trackers

General- Stay well-informed of trends in the industry and the position of competitors- Prepare ad-hoc/general research assignments and preparation of client pitches/presentations- Liaise with other product specialists and departments throughout ING, including the FI coverage team, risk management, syndications, loan operations, financial markets, compliance and KYC desk and build a strong working relationship with these stakeholders- Should be able to multitask and deliver tasks on a timely manner- Ensure that clients receive an excellent level of service

Your Profile:

- Qualification/Education_- Fluent in English (speaking, reading and writing)- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Law- Excellent IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word- Extensive transaction execution experience within an international financial institution
- Experience/Knowledge_- Preferably 2 years of relevant financial institutions / investment / corporate banking experience (or other relevant field)- Credit skills and experience creating proposal from the ground up would be beneficial
