**Overall Role**:
To deliver client service through the day to day administration of Facultative business relating to the placement, servicing & documentation of all classes of insurances. Answering client's queries. Placing of contracts that meet clients’ needs to the UIB markets. Ensuring placements maintain local compliance, regulatory and quality practice standards. Provide administrative support to the Facultative team (specifically Aviation, Property, Liability lines).

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Prepare slips, and endorsements. To obtain information to produce market presentations.
- Assist Brokers with the placement of Facultative reinsurance accounts thorough review of merits of individual accounts and provide recommendation where necessary.
- Accuracy and completeness of documents on file (Placement Slips, Cover notes, Signed Slips and Endorsements).
- Handling of Client enquiries.
- Excellent relationship management with business partners (cedants & reinsurers)
- Maintain records of market negotiations informing client and keeping colleagues informed.
- Prompt reply from reinsurers and sending addendums to cedant.
- Handling Client enquiries.
- Data Entry into Broking system (Netreibs).
- Arranging trip meetings with clients and reinsurers.

Cedents, Reinsurers, Underwriters & other business partners.

**Desirable Experience**
- International market experience in broking.
- Adept with handling difficult reinsurance placements, regardless of line of insurance work. Underwriting and product knowledge.

- Overall market knowledge.
- Basic Underwriting knowledge.
- Broking knowledge.
- Technical knowledge.
- Various classes of insurance as commonly demanded within client markets.
- Various market practices within client markets
- IT literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
- Client Servicing
