**Compound Coffee **Co. is Singapore's coffee roasting academy and the first co-roasting space. We source, roast and share some of the top coffees in the world. Learn how to roast coffee, train in our co-roasting space and participate in coffee research and events.

We are looking for a **Barista **to join our warm, friendly, and enthusiastic team.

**What you will do**:

- Taking customer orders and handling money
- Making all beverages (coffee, tea, frappes and other beverages)
- Select and grind coffee
- Replenishing & rotating of stock
- Undertaking general waiting duties for both food and/or beverage
- Clean and maintain service area, coffee-making area and espresso machine

**What you’ll need to succeed**:

- Prior cafe/restaurant experience and passionate about coffee
- Excellent coffee knowledge: espresso based drinks, filter coffee
- Strong interest in coffee
- Detail-oriented and able to handle given responsibilities
- Strong communicator and team player
- People-orientated, good customer service
- Holds a valid Food Safety & Hygiene Course certificate.

**What will your days look like?**
- Opening and closing the cafe, and work as per SOP
- Deep cleaning every last Saturday of the month
- Building relationships with customers
- Innovating different ways and products to attract and retain more customers,
- Working as a team to ensure smooth service at all times.

**Job Types**

Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**

$2,000.00 - $2,500.00 per month

Sat 10am-5pm
