Job Duties and Responsibilities:

- Perform inspection of incoming products, materials or customer items according to job project requirement
- Perform initial inspection and raise report
- Perform in-process inspection according to procedures and customer’s specifications. Raise report whenever necessary. Measure and record the dimension of components/parts using measuring instruments and analyse the findings for discrepancy
- Perform final inspection of items including dimensional and NDT to ensure that all quality requirements has been achieved. Analyse result and decide the acceptance level of the final product
- Raise non-conformance report and submit to Immediate Supervisor
- Interact with customers and attend to their needs
- Prepare test procedure whenever needed
- Prepare Data Book upon completion of jobs
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by Immediate Supervisor
- Responsible for all inspections and coordination of inspection activities to ensure the quality level

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Must hold CSWIP/AWS Welding Inspector Certificate
- At least 3 years of experience in the Project and Production environment (Marine Sector)
- Thorough knowledge in QA/QA role and familiar with inspection of Marine Hull Structure / Piping / Mechanical / Electrical
- Able to work independently and contribute to the team excellence
- Able to read and understand drawing
- Good technical competence & strong communication skills
- Good organizing and coordination skills
- Familiar with Microsoft Office
- Advantage if able to perform non-destructive test (MT/PT)
- Must be able to conduct site and vendor inspections and travel overseas for QA/QC works
