[What you will be working on]
- Conceptualise, review and implement the organisation-wide data strategy, as well as policies relating to data management, data classification, data protection, and data security, to encourage pervasive and responsible use of data in the organisation for better-informed policies and improvements in service delivery
- Work with stakeholders within IRAS and the Government to operationalise and ensure compliance with data policies
- Engage stakeholders to improve data processes across the data lifecycle to enhance the safe and efficient flow and use of data
- Support and maintain oversight of the sharing and exploitation of data within the Government to extract the full value of data in a robust and secure manner
- Develop and strengthen IRAS staff competencies and capabilities in data management

[What we are looking for]
- Background in Economics, Business Administration, Statistics, or any other accredited degree program with strong emphasis on analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and comfortable with engaging multiple and diverse stakeholders
- Resourceful, independent and motivated
- Strong analytical, systems thinking and conceptualisation skills

Being competent in the following areas is advantageous:

- 1-4 years of working experience in conceptualising and/or implementing policies
- Background in regulatory or compliance-related work
- Ability to use data extraction and manipulation tools such as SAS, Python, SQL Studio, R. Otherwise, the applicant must be willing to learn and pick it up on the job
