**Actuarial Manager (Local IFRS17 Project Lead)**:

This is an exciting, challenging opportunity to join the Financial Reporting Team as the project leader for the Local IFRS17 Standard implementation. Reporting to the Head of Financial Reporting, you will oversee the implementation of the local IFRS17 Standard of the business units in Asia (Singapore, Korea, Malaysia Retakaful, and Hong Kong) and is in close collaboration with the global project team in the headquarter. You will also provide necessary support and training to ensure successful, smooth implementation of the local IFRS17 Standard.

Your job
- Maintain knowledge of latest developments of IFRS17 Standard in the (re)insurance industry, and Munich Re's Group practices on IFRS17 Standard implementation.
- Provide necessary guidance and training to the Asian business units (i.e., Singapore, Korea, Malaysia Retakaful, and Hong Kong) to help implement the local IFRS17 Standard.
- Work closely with key stakeholders (i.e., Global IFRS17 Support Function, Regional IFRS17 Accounting Lead, and Business Units) to ensure successful, smooth implementation of the local IFRS17 Standard.
- Consult the business units in terms of appropriate processes and quality assurance
- Participate in and support the business units on the (external) audit process on local IFRS17 Standard implementation.

**Profile**:

- Knowledge of IFRS17 Standard is mandatory for the role.
- Degree in Actuarial Science, Accounting or Business Management.
- Around 8 years actuarial experience, preferably within the valuation function of life (re)insurance industries.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, taking ownership, research and project management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, VBA and PowerPoint).
- It is an advantage to have knowledge of:

- Life and health reinsurance arrangements;
- FinRe arrangements;
- IFRS 9 Standards
- Solvency II (or MCEV), IFRS and Statutory Reporting in Asian markets.
