**Gardener Support for School Green Spaces and Outdoor Learning**:
**1. Objective**:
To support the maintenance and enhancement of the school’s green spaces and environmental systems, creating an authentic outdoor learning environment that enhances teaching and learning.

**2. Scope of Work**:
**A. General Responsibilities**:

- Maintain school green spaces and eco-ponds to support outdoor education.
- Support daily cleaning and maintenance of school infrastructure under teacher guidance, including:
Vertical farming systems
Aquaponics systems
Solar-powered hydroponics systems
- Assist teachers and pupils with regular planting and harvesting activities under the school’s Applied Learning Programme (ALP).
- Support ad-hoc school programmes such as composting, together with teachers and pupils.

**3. Detailed Requirements**:
**A. Job Description**:
**(a) Basic Gardening Duties**
- Routine maintenance tasks including:
Watering
Soil cultivation
Fertilising
Digging
Mulching
Forking
Weeding
Edging
Pruning
Grass cutting
Bed preparation
Planting
Clearing of fallen leaves and fruits
- Ensure cleanliness of the school landscape at all times.

**(b) Equipment and Supplies**
- Contractor shall:
Provide and maintain basic gardening tools, fertiliser, and pesticides.
Secure all tools and materials in a lockable storage facility.

**(c) Outdoor Learning Spaces Maintenance**
- Maintain the following areas:
Eco-garden, Fernery, and Nurseries
Eco-ponds
Herb, spice, and edible plant station
Desert station and Compost station
Fruit trees and Butterfly Garden
Citronella (lemongrass) trail along the classroom block driveway
Level 4 Roof Garden

**(d) Systems Support**
- Assist in the preparation, operation, and cleaning of:
Vertical farming systems
Aquaponics systems
Solar-powered hydroponics systems
Butterfly garden
- Report any system maintenance issues to the HOD Science or Subject Head (Science) for vendor attention.

**(e) Additional Responsibilities**
- Undertake any other duties assigned by:
