**Your team**

The Securities Banking Senior Specialist provides supervision and guidance to Settlement/Transfer team in their daily operational activities covering Equities, Bonds, Structure Notes, Mutual Fund, Hedge Fund as well as Private Equity Fund. In addition, he/she will also be monitoring and undertaking Asian’s client transaction processes, working within agreed AAPL and Client policies and procedures. On a daily basis, he/she will also be liaising with global colleagues locating in Switzerland and Germany to align/streamline processes.

**Your mission**
- Ensuring that all activities pertaining to Equities, Bonds, Structure Notes, Mutual Funds, Hedge Funds and Private Equity Funds are processed in a timely manner.
- Responsible for processing/handholding Buy/Sell securities transactions and Subscription/Redemption of Funds.
- Responsible for the Processing/handholding of Incoming & Outgoing free of payment transactions.
- Responsible for the Execution/Monitoring of the qualitative end-of-day operational level controls.
- Ability to work and communicate well with various stakeholders, such as Clients, Cross-teams peers, Counterparties and Custodians.
- Maintenance of a constructive internal alignment with the Team members/Other Team leaders in case of any operational issues.
- In-scope service management in compliance with Services Level Agreements(SLA), KRI/KPI and keeping oneself abreast of market / regulatory changes
- Ensuring that all outstanding break items in Securities and Nostro as well as Internal accounts are resolved in a timely manner.
- Ensuring proper documentation such as updating of Key Operating Procedure (KOP) and controls are complied with to prevent losses or risks due to errors, omission or non-compliance.
- Ability to define Test Cases/Scenarios and ensure UAT is executed as required, Participate in adhoc project or initiatives assigned from time to time.
- Reviewing EOD checklists report and ensuring all controls are in placed.
- Escalating of any operational risks relating matters to Global Heads for mitigation / control solutions.
- Provide guidance/coaching team members and conduct 1 to 1 with team members.
- Be engaged and contributing to enhancements, suggestions and automations initiatives of the team.
- Prompt resolution covering any exceptions / discrepancies.
- Provide Management reporting to Global Heads when required.
- Ability to analyse and provide detailed sequence of events on Risk related reports.

**Qualifications**:
**What you need**
- Banking Operations experience is required
- Language: Fluent English
- Banking domains knowledge and experience
- Technology and Solutions skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Avaloq Banking Suite, Clearstream Vestima, SWIFT, Bloomberg)
- Ability to work under pressure and handles well during a stressful environment
- Proven service-orientation and a strong motivation to be part of a dynamic team
- A team player
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- An independent and proactive worker with good communication skills.
- High attention to details and good time management skills.
- Motivated, positive and proactive with professional attitude.
- Experience in managing a team
