A Lifting Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all lifting operations on a construction site to ensure they are carried out safely and efficiently. This role involves planning lifts, supervising lifting personnel, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Planning and Coordination**:
Develop and implement lift plans based on project requirements and site conditions.
Coordinate with project managers, crane operators, and other relevant personnel.
- **Supervision of Lifting Operations**:
Oversee all lifting activities to ensure they are executed safely and efficiently.
Ensure that all lifting personnel, including riggers and crane operators, are competent and properly instructed.
- **Safety Compliance**:
Conduct regular inspections of lifting equipment and ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations.
Prepare and enforce strict safety protocols for lifting operations.
- **Training and Development**:
Provide training and guidance to lifting personnel to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings related to lifting operations.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:
Maintain accurate records of all lifting operations, including risk assessments, lift plans, and equipment inspections.
Report any incidents, accidents, or near-misses related to lifting activities to the relevant authorities.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Technical Knowledge**:In-depth understanding of lifting equipment, lifting operations, and industry standards.
- **Safety Awareness**:Strong knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to enforce them.
- **Leadership Skills**:Ability to lead, supervise, and motivate a team of lifting personnel.
- **Communication Skills**:Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- **Problem-Solving**:Capable of identifying and resolving issues related to lifting operations promptly.

**Work Environment**:

- **On-Site**:Work primarily on construction sites, which may include exposure to varying weather conditions and heights.
- **Physical Demands**:Must be physically fit to inspect equipment and participate in lifting activities if necessary.

**Salary**:
