**What we look for**:

- Scala engineering professional with hands-on experience in Akka Ecosystem (Cluster,Cluster Sharding, Streams) with Scala as core skills.
- Hands-on experience in working with PostgreSQL with Java/Scala clients.
- Expertin Java and must be able to learn Scala and work on Scala development projects.
- Hands-on experience with Git.
- Must have knowledge of Akka Clustering/Sharding.

**Here is what you will need to be successful**:

- Experience in developing Microservices and REST APIs usingAkka/Scala.
- Understanding of database, performance tuning, SQL queries, DB-related issues, Scripting, shell, Autosys, etc. Configuration and release of code, Troubleshooting, and code changes, Have a good approach to handling issues in production.
- Must have implementation experience in PostgreSQL.
- Should be capable of doingprogramming on ‘Java' and ‘Scala'.
- Good expertise in Unit Testing and System Testing using Scala/Java and Gatling.
- Should have experience in Agile projects with knowledge in Jira
- Must have handled Akka Cluster projects.
- Ability to communicate efficiently with customer's key Business and IT folks to present/defend architecture/design
- Familiar with tools such as Jira, Confluence, etc.
- Knowledge of microservices and API development.
- Knowledge of microservices
