**Job Title: Sea Freight Operations Manager**

Working Hours: Monday to Saturday (9am-6pm)

Monthly Rest Days: 4

Total Salary: SGD 6000 ~ 6500

Basic Salary: SGD 6000

- **Manage the import and export team to ensure compliance with customer operational/documentary requirements.**:

- **Establish customer relationships with existing clients where possible to maintain business.**:

- **Handle ad-hoc customer queries, including sales/quotation and operational issues.**:

- **Liaise with customers and overseas offices/joint ventures on shipping operations, costs, and documentary requirements.**

**Key customer contacts**:

- Lead strategic contact and customer interface with key customers. Carriers/suppliers.
- Coordinate/engage with carriers on operational activities, issue resolution, process execution, and performance improvement in line with company policies.
- Monitor carrier performance

**Internal**:

- Ensure export/import operators complete/invoice on time, accurately input costs, and accurately complete all transactions on TMS in a timely manner.
- Business performance and outcomes.
- Identify, monitor, and execute operational unit objectives.
- Quality and improvement.
- Responsible for continuous improvement and optimization of processes as well as cost control. Ensure compliance with ISO/STP standards.

**Requirements**:

- 8-10 years of experience in the relevant field - shipping/logistics/sea freight, with at least 4-5 years of senior management/supervisory level experience.
- Diploma, degree, or equivalent qualification in shipping/transport or business management (minimum requirement).
