Shipbrokers act as intermediaries between two parties in the shipping industry.

We are now looking for a Broker to join our Tankers Desk in our Singapore office.

**Key Responsibilities**

Reporting to the Head of Dirty Tankers in Singapore, you will work alongside colleagues in our Singapore and Atlantic/Pacific region to support the Tankers business from Asia.

**Responsibilities**:
You will develop, maintain and enhance relationships with Tankers counter parties.
- You will be required to closely monitor and gather market data to forecast the direction of the markets and advise clients accordingly.
- You will expand and develop contacts with principals from both Owners and Charterers.
- You will work as part of a close knit team to develop Tankers business opportunities across the value chain.

**Education, Experience and Skills**

You will have:

- Proven work experience as a Ship Broker or in a similar role within the maritime industry
- Strong understanding of the shipping market and industry regulations
- Excellent negotiation and sales skills
- Strong networking abilities and client management skills
- Ability to analyse market trends and make strategic decisions
