Hiring Manager: Exyte Singapore Pte Ltd

We are looking for experienced Senior Civil & Structural Engineers to design concrete and steel structures for industrial construction projects.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities
- Involves in all aspects relating to the Tender, Design and Construction Management of all types of Civil and Structural Systems for Industrial Facilities Buildings;
- In-charge of the design of Concrete and Steel Structures;
- Assists Project Managers in achieving project completion within budget and on schedule and quality
- Prepares, Issues and Evaluates Tender packages;
- Coordinates with Architectural and Process, Mechanical, Electrical disciplines and Quantity surveyors;
- Address site issues related to design;
- Liaises with Consultants and sub-contractors;
- Provides direction and coaching to other junior team members;
- Manages timely submission and approvals from local authorities.
- Mentoring of Civil & Structural engineers during tendering, design and construction phase based on best practices defined in the engineering efficiency checklist;
Show your expertise
- Minimum 8 years of Design & Construction experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
- Design and Construction experience preferably in industrial buildings with Precast and Long span roof trusses experiences
- Site experience on piling works, Sub-structure and Super structure works for reinforce concrete and Steel structures and Precast structures
- Experience working closely with Process, Mechanical and Electrical disciplines and Quantity Surveyor
- Experience of liaise with consultants and contractors
- Experience with checking of shop drawings for Precast and steel structures and able to do detailed Design and work in a team and able to provide details for cad
- Able to do Tender / preliminary Design, Detailed Design, Preparation and Managing the sub contract tender packages and Lead the team of Engineers and Computer Aided Design
- Conversant with the Local Authorities requirements for Civil and Structural submissions
- Conversant with other country codes is preferable
- Conversant in the use of Structural design software STAAD-Pro, Prokon, Orion
