**The Opportunity**
As the Director of Growth, you’re a natural collaborator who loves to teach and partner others what you know - be they clients, creative peers or business leads. We do need you to be a constant stream of innovation, drive company, customer, and revenue growth across the businesses that will get others excited. You are responsible for presenting and selling the work to senior clients.
You will provide concise a strategic vision focusing on lead generation and demand generation growth in conjunction with founder and across departments. Per the lead, you will be required to create compelling narratives to convert them into long-term clients and a profitable ecosystem for delivery. You carry a professional temperament and gravitas; are a passionate and magnetic presenter and a champion of people and agency initiatives.
**The Work**
- Pipeline development and client acquisition activities, including direct sales, partnerships and cross-selling.
- Identifying areas of new opportunity within current client relationships and designing strategies with the founder and across departments to expand within the existing accounts
- Identifying, assessing, developing, verifying and prospecting leads to actively pursuing business opportunities.
- Working with the account and strategy leads on prospective deals to ensure accurate bids, compelling value propositions and a frictionless deal environment
- Achieving revenue targets as set forth by the Company, which is the primary measurement of success for this role
- Create and develop marketing materials to attract new clients and remain top of mind with clients
- Ensure the strategic propositions and creative solutions deliver a persistent strategic narrative from comms objectives to bottom-funnel executions
- Self-directed management of your day-to-day project delivery, including building presentations and persuasive business proposals, generating and converting leads
- Build and maintain client relationships - Personally establish enduring relationships and obtain referrals from high-level executives at targeted companies.
- Oversee the entire process of pursuing opportunities, including initiating communication with clients, conducting on-site presentations, negotiating deals, and finalizing agreements.
- Offer assistance to clients during the initial stages of their engagement and ensure their ongoing satisfaction throughout the duration of the relationship.
- Understand market trends and opportunities: Staying informed about the latest market trends, industry developments, and emerging opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams: effectively communicate client requirements and provide guidance to ensure the recruitment process aligns with client expectations
- Primary relationship owner developing long term and new relationships increasing revenue significantly beyond initial engagements
- Develop strategies and processes/approaches to increase client satisfaction
- Manage client expectations/communications, expand client relationships as well as effective comprehension and delivery of expectations including budgeting
- Prepare proposals, estimating costs (including costing strategy), timelines and case studies
- Gather, monitor and manage project status and billing information
- Group level P/L responsibility - achieving targets whilst maintaining optimum cost ratios for profitability
- Ensure healthy cash flow and on time payment
- Upsell the company’s service: creating a new revenue stream via KOLs and PR, and others
- Develop communication approaches, map integrated paid, owned, earned comms journeys that reflect understanding of audience behaviors, channel landscape and key trends linked to media and content consumption
- Responsible for existing account growth and diversification
- Provide clear concise feedback to the team that is actionable; and follow-up with the team if there are any questions or concerns
- Lead project kick-off meetings with Strategy, Creative, Account, and Project Management team members
- Provide a deeper understanding of marketing and creative best practices of what it takes to develop innovative experiential creative ideas
