Business China (BC) was launched in November 2007 by Singapore’s Founding Prime Minister and BC’s Founding Patron, the late Mr Lee Kuan Yew. The current Patron is Singapore’s Prime Minister Mr Lee Hsien Loong.

**Responsibilities**

You will play a leading role in ensuring that the various programmes of Business China are well organised and run smoothly, thereby directly contributing to the outreach and impact of Business China to its customers and stakeholders.

Working closely with the Programme Units and vendors, you will be leading event organisation and project management in support of the Programme Units within Business China for key flagship events (but not only) such as the Future China Global Forum (FCGF) and the Advanced Leadership Programme (ALP).

As a secondary responsibility, working with vendors, you will also be responsible for the internal IT and other (excluding HR and Finance) administrative support to ensure that Business China operations can run smoothly.

**Job Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Provide support & assistance to the team on vendors’ ITQ, ITT, shortlisting and selection
- Ability to negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and hotels.
- Budget, source, connect and liaise with suppliers in relation to specific project needs.
- Oversee project flow from start till end, paying attention to details of the project requirement on all aspects from setting up till tear down, post reports, etc
- Provide logistics assistance & support for programme teams' activities implementation
- Any other tasks, activities or responsibilities designated by the CEO or the department head.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality or Project Management.
- 4 to 5 years of relevant working experience is preferred.
- Experience in event management and project management.
- Basic understanding of tender procedures.
- Effectively strong in English and Chinese - verbal, written and reading
- Disciplined, responsible, and can work with minimum or little supervision.
