- Maintaining and updating the Workplace Safety and Health policy and framework.
- Creating and implementing safety policies and procedures.
- Planning and conducting safety training for employees to establish a culture of safety.
- Performing regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance, valuate performance, identify and recommend preventive or corrective actions, and conduct follow-up assessments.
- Identifying and analyzing potential hazards and implementing measures for prevention.
- Investigating accidents and incidents and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Maintaining and updating safety records and documentation.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Communicating with employees and management regarding safety issues and concerns.
- Collaborating with other departments and the Workplace Safety and Health committee to ensure a safe working environment.

**Job requirements**:

- A Bachelor's degree in engineering, occupational health and safety, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in safety management and risk assessment, with relevant certification in occupational health and safety or risk management.
- A deep understanding of safety regulations, policies, and procedures, along with the ability to identify and mitigate safety risks.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
- The ability to engage and collaborate with various stakeholders within and outside the organization, including senior management and government authorities.
- Highly motivated and focused team player who is outcome-oriented.
- Proactive with the ability to work with mínimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
