Job requirements:

- Monitor and maintain the documentation of food safety management system ISO22000:2018 and MUIS halal certifications.
- Formalizing, maintaining, and upkeeping of SOPs/quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure products are compiled to the prescribed specifications and quality.
- Coordinate and facilitate internal and external food hygiene audits. Evaluate the audit findings and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
- Work closely with local regulatory bodies (e.g. SFA, NEA) on food and site inspections, and licenses.
- Perform QA inspections on incoming/outgoing products based on compliance requirements.
- Conduct investigations of quality non-compliance issues. Discuss with relevant departments and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Prepare documents (e.g. product specifications, customer declaration, evaluation form) for customers
- Work closely with pest control vendors to rectify pest issues in processing areas.
- Conduct compliance inspections in production and warehouse, identify key areas for improvement, and advise corrective actions.
- Provide in-house training for various departments (e.g. food hygiene training for production staff, internal halal training for key personnel and halal team members)
- Participate in new product development projects. Conduct continual testing and improvement of new and existing products.
- Any other duties as assigned by superiors and deemed fit by management.
- Minimum Diploma in Food Science & Technology or equivalent
- Knowledge and experience in HACCP/ISO22000/Halal certifications will be an advantage.
- Organize and able to prioritize work efficiently with strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
