**Key Responsibilities**
- To provide support in the incoming chilled/frozen goods inspection and product returns on food safety and quality aspects.
- To conduct product inspections and evaluation based on risk assessment to ensure conformity to product specifications and produce a written report.
- To regularly review on the risk assessment of the QA Master Sampling Program for all incoming chilled/frozen items for QC inspection and QA test based on food safety risk and changing circumstances.
- To monitor and analyse the test results, update QAM and/or HOD on the test performance and seek immediate attention or advice on any abnormal observation.
- To proactively conduct the investigations based on high return trends and work collaboratively with the respective Ops stakeholders on the resolution and continuous improvements.
- To conduct routine inspections on 3rd Party Logistics to ensure compliance to food safety/ regulatory requirements and follow up on continuous improvements.
- To support Ops on customer complaints, product withdrawal and verify the write-off of non-conforming products.
- To perform food safety and hygiene inspections at the Meat Cutting & Processing plant and prepare QA reports.
- To support QA Manager and Ops on the periodic food safety certification & customer audits, and food safety trainings & assessment for operational staff.

**Key Requirements**
- Minimum Degree in Food Science/ Technology or other relevant fields.
- Minimum 2 year of QA/ Production experience in the food industry is required.
- Passionate in upholding food safety and possess good knowledge of SFA, GMP, HACCP, ISO22000 requirements.
- Competent in writing QA report and innovative in preparing the presentation slides for QA and Management monthly meeting.
- Meticulous and uphold integrity in performing the QA roles and function at all times.
- Ability to multi task, handle work in a fast a fast-paced environment and meeting tight deadlines.
- Independent, committed, have strong interpersonal communication skills and able to communicate effectively between inter-departmental levels.
- Fit and capable to conduct QA sampling of incoming food consignment for QC inspection and routine QA test. Must be comfortable to work in a cold environment.
