**This is Adyen**
We took an unobvious approach to starting a payments company, building a platform from scratch. Today, we're the payments platform of choice for the world's brightest companies. Our unobvious approach is a product of our diverse perspectives. This diversity, of backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives, is essential in helping us maintain our momentum. Our business challenges are unique, we need as many different voices as possible to join us in solving them - voices like yours. So no matter where you’re from, who you love, or what you believe in, we welcome you to be your true self at Adyen.
**Head of HR APAC**
As the Head of HR APAC, you will be based in Singapore supporting our Adyen offices in Australia, India, Hong Kong, China, Japan and Singapore. Reporting to the President of APAC, you will be managing a team of Recruiters, HR Business Partners and Office Manager.
You will be accountable for all HR disciplines in the region including, but not limited to, Recruitment, Rewards, Learning & Development, Global Mobility, Performance Management, Payroll, DEI, Wellbeing and new office set-ups. You will be working closely with our global COE’s based in our Headquarters in Amsterdam.
**How we work**
When confronted with dilemmas and challenges we work with principles rooted in our Formula, not with written, standardized HR policies. We align globally, but take ownership regionally. This role requires you to effortlessly navigate between responsibilities related to long term strategic plans, team management, global HR initiatives, business partnering and day-to-day solutions to unique challenges. Our business and teams are growing rapidly and the role of HR is to enable scaling for the future while keeping our unique culture that brought us to where we are today.
**What you’ll do**
- Enable and develop a growing team of HR professionals;
- HR Business Partner for a group of APAC team leads;
- Be a sparring partner for the President APAC and Regional Leadership Team;
- Oversee Recruitment for the region and hands on hiring for key roles;
- Oversee HR metrics such as business data analysis, identifying trends and recommending solutions on improving employee satisfaction and retention;
- Play a key role in the global HR team representing APAC. Not only sharing best practices, but also owning global topics;
- Facilitate trainings and workshops;
- Partnering with our global COE’s based in our Headquarters in Amsterdam.
**Who you are**
- You have 8+ years experience in an international HR environment, with at least 2 years of people management responsibilities;
- You have experience working in a scale up environment;
- You are a role model when it comes to culture and leading a team;
- You have HR generalist experience across multiple APAC countries;
- You have deep knowledge of HRIS and use of data;
- You have knowledge of regional employment law and immigration;
- You are able to handle sensitive and confidential information, and you are discreet with a high standard of integrity;
- You have the flexibility to travel ±8 weeks per year.
**Who we are**
Adyen is the payments platform of choice for many of the world’s leading companies, providing a modern end-to-end infrastructure connecting directly to Visa, Mastercard, and consumers' globally preferred payment methods. Adyen delivers frictionless payments across online, mobile, and in-store channels. With offices across the world, Adyen serves customers including Facebook, Uber, Spotify, Casper, Bonobos and L'Oreal.
**Our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion commitments**
Our unobvious approach is a product of our diverse perspectives. This diversity of backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives is essential in helping us maintain our momentum. Our business and technical challenges are unique, we need as many different voices as possible to join us in solving them - voices like yours. So no matter where you’re from, who you love, or what you believe in, we welcome you to be your true self at Adyen.
