Horizon Consultant

**Responsibilities**:
- Design and deploy VMware Horizon environments, including Horizon View, Horizon Cloud, and Horizon Apps.
- Assess client's requirements and provide technical recommendations to optimise their virtual desktop infrastructure.
- Configure and manage VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi hosts and vCenter Server.
- Implement and manage VMware Horizon features such as Instant Clones, App Volumes, and User Environment Manager (UEM).
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to VMware Horizon and associated technologies.
- Perform regular maintenance, updates, and patches to ensure the stability and security of VMware Horizon environments.
- Provide training and support to clients' IT staff on VMware Horizon best practices.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design plans, configuration guides, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with other IT professionals and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration with other systems and technologies.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and VMware Horizon advancements to continually enhance service delivery.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing VMware
- Horizon environments.
- Consulting or professional services experience preferred, technology industry experience required.
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP) in Desktop and Mobility or equivalent certification.
- Strong knowledge of VMware Horizon suite, including Horizon View, Horizon Cloud, and Horizon Apps.
- Proficiency in VMware vSphere, including ESXi and vCenter Server.
- Experience with related technologies such as App Volumes, User Environment Manager, and NSX.
- Familiarity with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy management.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
