FabLab Singapore Polytechnic (FabLab SP), part of the Department of Library & FabLab, is a dynamic learning hub, providing our students with resources, services and an environment that enables them to discover their interests, connect with ideas, resources and expertise, and to create content, concepts and prototypes using digital fabrication, turning ideas into physical reality. As a part of the global FabLab network, FabLab SP is one of only 70+ nodes world-wide and the only node in SE Asia offering the Fab Academy Diploma, an international programme awarded by the Fab Foundation and recognized by many institutions around the world. FabLab SP provides a suite of facilities and programmes on digital fabrication and prototyping skills in a safe, conducive environment. In this role, you will report to the Manager of the Research & Services section and partner with Schools & Departments in teaching and learning, driving Learning Gym in action which includes curation of content, provision of business intelligence, developing learning pathways, enabling digital competency, and organizing student/staff engagement activities.
**What you will be working on**
- Responsibilities: - Lead in collaborating with schools as School Librarian to enhance teaching and learning through content and pedagogy development as well as business intelligence. - Nurture self-directed and lifelong learning by developing learning pathways, content curation and online courses under the learning curation framework. - Expand student engagement with digital competency programmes, advisory service, project showcase or other activities. - Work closely with departments and centres on initiatives, projects and activities to broaden learning experiences. - Drive digitalization of library services through AI-curation and EduTech tools.
**What we are looking for**
- Requirements: - Postgraduate qualifications in library science, information management or related fields. - Preferably with 2 years of relevant working experience in library curation and services. - Experienced in developing e-learning content. - Competent in data visualisation and analytics. - Good written, presentation and facilitation skills. - Service-oriented with effective interpersonal skills to develop good working relations among colleagues, stakeholders and IHL counterparts. - Independent, resourceful, meticulous and time management skills. - Innovative and creative mindset in seeking and implementing solutions.
