- As the Lead of “MBC Overseas Sales Chief Product Management”, you are responsible for the implementation of standardized sales processes and systems of the Overseas IT target landscape.- IT Governance:
You are responsible for leading and further developing an IT-Governance approach to steer the Region Overseas markets to achieve standardization.- Process Design & Management:
This position requires a strong focus on product design and management in sales & marketing of Mercedes-Benz Passenger Cars and developing Business Products that support the strategic business priorities.- Product Strategy & Management:
One major key element of this position is to establish a consistent understanding of the specific Mercedes-Benz cars IT landscape, its products, their purpose and objective, their impact and role in our business processes and continuously defining their strategic scope.
- You pro-actively measure the impact and business value of our products and make suggestions in improving the overarching sales process and customer journey.- Product Ownership and Market Communication:
Your team is responsible to communicate clearly with the markets and collaboratively work on improving the processes and systems in our IT landscape. The product owners in your team participate in the agile work methodology and align closely with the Process Managers and the IT teams in the regional center of competence.
- TASKS & OBJECTIVES:
- It is your core responsibility to implement harmonized and sustainable sales Products in the markets of Region Overseas (MPCs and GDs) and to define the IT target landscape with each market in close alignment with the PCB members and the rCOC.
- Stop any project in Region Overseas in case that business prerequisite will not be met.
- Prioritize & evaluate all change demands and market requests in line with the company strategy and operational targets of the Region Overseas.
- Drive market rollout initiatives of Products to achieve the Region Overseas strategic objectives.
- Facilitate discussions with the markets and in case of escalations with the required stakeholders to come to a decision on all change requests efficiently.
- Support the IT budget planning process throughout the year together with other relevant business units. Facilitate and guide market discussions within the planning process.
- Participate pro-actively during all discussions and decision boards with the goal to agree on the Region Overseas IT budget and timelines based on your recommendations, priorities and feedback.
- You align closely with the relevant stakeholders in the market, in Region Overseas and the regional Centre of Competence and provide transparency in your decision-making process.
- Design improved Products & Integration into existing products and processes with a focus on Omni channel, e-Commerce, direct sales and customer journey 2.0.
- Be part of local Project Team organizations for such implementation projects in the responsibility of BU Overseas Project Lead or BU Overseas Steering Committee Member.
- Continuously improve the customer journey and by that increase the share of digital KPI’s such as Leads, digitally triggered sales etc. together with the markets and the program managers in Region Overseas.
- Improve the existing direct sales processes and systems blueprint further and ensure successful implementation in various markets.
- Define Product enhancements to improve data quality, consistency and data compliance in markets and regional processes and systems.
- Derive concrete steps and framework to establish a “data-driven organization” mindset and culture in Region Overseas together with other relevant partners and stakeholders.
- Pro-actively facilitate, lead and guide product strategy of our IT landscape together with the rCOC and relevant stakeholders.
- Co-Responsible for development/ build of IT templates/ products within the given frame conditions regarding scope, budget and time.
- Determine incremental product enhancements in alignment with the overarching business strategy and in line with global initiatives in systems and processes and provide a roadmap for each product accordingly.
- Support the “Project to Product” initiative and define a Lean Canvas and supporting OKR’s for each product. Monitor and steer the OKR’s for each product continuously and utilize the insights to improve the relevant process and system landscape accordingly.
