Manager - Finance Planning & Analysis

**Purpose of position**:
This role is primarily responsible for timely and quality management reporting, analysis and investment evaluations for business decision support. This will include smooth operation of monthly operating rhythm for financial planning & reporting and identification/implementation of enhancement for improved productivity.

**Principal responsibilities**:
**Operational Management**

1. Performance Management:
a. Leads regional periodic planning, forecast and budgeting process to ensure alignment with business goals including development of actions plans and implementing of tracking process:
i. Preparation of top down target for the countries

ii. Coordinating with Country/RBU teams to ensure timely and quality submissions to group and APAC office

iii. Development of plan templates and supporting working papers

iv. Preparation of annual plan presentation pack for group

v. Coordinating with group finance team to ensure correctness of data and common understanding of targets

b. Ensure timely and quality delivery of period end management reports which includes:
i. Propose, prepare and present Financial and Operational metrics as a part of the monthly business review process

ii. Preparation of period end (monthly & quarterly) reports as required by group office

iii. Compile monthly performance dashboards and investigate any variances from expectations

iv. Analyse management financial reports and highlight to management for business decision making

v. Leads and drives business decision support including specific initiatives or program support:
1. Portfolio management: assess product mix and profitability issues and make necessary recommendations on resource allocation

2. Support business in developing pricing strategy and enforce pricing process for each pricing change

3. Monitor costs, margins and pricing and highlight any major movement to management for corrective actions

4. Educate business of financial implications

c. Provides strategic financial management and leadership across the business in the region

d. Develops and coordinates the implementation of financial performance targets and monitor productivity as per group guidance

e. Coordinate the development of service level agreements to maintain internal service standards

f. Support business in risk management activities, coordinate the process of risk management and quarterly update of risk register

g. Develop, maintain, and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models as needed.

h. Work closely with the Operations and Program Managers, and other Accounting personnel to obtain financial inputs for use in reporting and forecasting

i. Analyses new business opportunities and capital investments and offer recommendations to business.

**Required key skills (functional/technical)**:

- 7+ years’ experience in budgeting, planning & Investment evaluation function with multinational companies of which at least 3 years has to be in managerial position.
- Accounting degree or Finance degree with professional qualification (CPA / MBA / comparable business degree is advantageous).
