**Position Overview**:
We are actively seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic professional to join our distinguished Application Level 3 team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a mission-critical system, while also providing essential support to ensure its seamless functionality.
In this role, you will showcase your expertise in Java technologies and a deep understanding of industry best practices. Your commitment to delivering high-quality, fully functional software within specified schedules and requirements will be central to your responsibilities.
Comprehensive training and mentorship will be provided, covering SOPs, IT Service Management (ITSM), and the utilization of Monitoring and Investigation tools.
**Roles and Responsibilities**:
- Thoroughly investigate issues reported by Application Support (Level 2), devising both temporary workarounds and permanent solutions.
- Temporary solutions may encompass data patching, shell scripting, and PL/SQL scripting, among others.
- Permanent solutions involve implementing code changes and workflow enhancements.
- Contribute to the continuous enhancement of enterprise-level software solutions throughout the development life cycle.
- Develop and sustain comprehensive documentation for software design specifications.
- Participate in after-office-hours standby support, with corresponding allowances and compensatory time off:
- One week of standby duty per one to two months.
- On-site activation for urgent production issues.
- Occasional off-hours and public holiday support as per client requests.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum of a Diploma/Degree in Computing/Information Technology or related field.
- Entry-level experience or 1 year of Java development experience.
- Proficiency in the Spring/Spring Boot framework.
- Familiarity with relational databases, particularly Oracle.
- Exposure to frontend frameworks like Angular, Struts, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
- Involvement in one or more full Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC) for enterprise projects.
- Demonstrated ability to swiftly acquire new technologies.
- Adaptability to fast-paced work environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for effective investigation and resolution.
- Effective collaboration skills in both independent and team-oriented scenarios.
- Analytical mindset with the capacity to comprehend business and functional concepts.
- Proactive and self-driven, capable of performing under pressure with a keen sense of urgency.
- Solid grasp of SQL and PL/SQL.
- Sound understanding of modern software development methodologies.
- Familiarity with software testing methodologies, scripting, and associated tools.
