Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct financial analysis, interpret data, and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and manage the annual budgeting process for the construction projects and the overall company.
- Collaborate with project managers and department heads to establish project budgets and track actual costs against budgeted amounts.
- Monitor project budgets, identify variances, and provide recommendations for cost control.
- Create financial forecasts and projections to support strategic planning and resource allocation.
- Oversee job cost accounting processes, including tracking project costs, labor, materials, and overhead expenses.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting principles, regulations, and contractual requirements specific to the construction industry.
- Prepare for and coordinate internal and external audits, responding to audit inquiries and implementing audit recommendations.
- Maintain proper documentation and records of financial transactions and contracts.

**Job Requirements**:

- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Have at least 5 years’ working experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial analysis.
- Familiarity with construction accounting practices, including revenue recognition, cost tracking, and contract management.
- Understanding of project-based accounting and the ability to handle job cost analysis, work in progress (WIP), and project billing.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders, including project managers, executives, and external parties.
- Familiarity with accounting software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, such as tax regulations and construction contract requirements.
