Project Director

1. Strategic Planning:

- Develop and implement strategic plans for the successful development and operation of the project.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, objectives, and timelines.

2. Partner Liaison:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for Chinese partners involved in the project, especially on commercial procurement.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with partners to ensure smooth collaboration and timely progress.

3. Procurement Management:

- Coordinate with international partners to identify suppliers and negotiate procurement contracts.
- Oversee the procurement process, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and order fulfillment.

4. Budget and Resource Management:

- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective procurement and resource allocation.
- Allocate resources efficiently to meet project deadlines and objectives.

5. Quality Control:

- Implement quality control measures to ensure that all products and services meet the required standards and specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to monitor product quality and performance.

6. Project Coordination:

- Coordinate with internal and external teams to integrate procurement activities into the overall project plan.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between different stakeholders to ensure alignment and synergy.

7. Risk Management:

- Identify potential risks and challenges related to project development and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
- Monitor project progress and performance, taking proactive measures to address any issues or deviations from the plan.

8. Compliance and Documentation:

- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards governing procurement and project development.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procurement activities, contracts, and correspondence with partners.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in project management, with a focus on international partnerships and procurement.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in dealing with international partners and suppliers.
- Previous work experience with developers in similar roles, preferably in the real estate or construction industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently to China for partner meetings and procurement activities.
