**About Polygon Labs**:
Polygon Labs is a software development company building and developing a network of aggregated blockchains via the AggLayer, secured by Ethereum. **Your Role**:
We are seeking an experienced (technical) Chief of Staff to support and work alongside the CTO in their day-to-day activities.

As a Chief of Staff, you will work closely with the CTO to manage priorities, drive strategic initiatives, and oversee operational efficiency across the organisation. You will also be responsible for creating and implementing processes, managing special projects, and providing strategic insights.
- This team member loves creating and implementing new operational processes, while keeping perspective of the overall market and strategic objectives of the business to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Act as a trusted advisor and confidant to the CTO, maintaining confidentiality and discretion at all times while handling some of the most strategic projects.
- Act as an extension to the CTO and be able to make strategic decisions.
- Create and implement processes to streamline operations and drive efficiency across the organization.
- Manage communication and coordination among senior leaders to ensure timely and effective decision-making.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to the executive team based on data analysis and industry trends.
- Drive functional and technical delivery of key team, org and company-wide initiatives.
- Planning and Business Rhythm: Run organizational planning in alignment with all functions to develop objectives setting & processes, reporting processes (e.g. QBRs), resource planning and hiring, internal engagement and communications.
- Business Process Improvement: Manage and improve processes to minimize complexities and optimize to promote effective operations. This includes optimizing day to day business operations, launching and scaling new initiatives, creating and deploying new operational processes.
- Partner to Human Resources: Support the creation of leadership development strategies, succession planning and organizational design.
- Assist with the preparation of presentations, reports, and other materials for meetings and events.
- Take ownership of strategic projects and drive them forward from end to end.

**What You'll Need**:

- 6+ years of software engineering, technical product, technical program management, or (technical) Chief of Staff experience.
- Understand the development lifecycle, release management and have dealt with the complexities of delivering world class solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, building strong relationships with stakeholders and teams around the organization.
- Experience operating autonomously and leading large-scale efforts across multiple teams and functions, with stakeholders in different disciplines across time zones.
- Analytical and problem-solving experience with large-scale platforms, infrastructure and organizations.
- Ability to think strategically and tackle open-ended problems with strong problem-solving skills.
- Confidence leaning into change management to anticipate and play out issues before they arise.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to digest complex data and present findings in a clear manner that drives decision making and outcomes, influencing others to act.
- Ability to go beyond the recommendation to execution.
- Strong stakeholder and project management skills to effectively influence and manage expectations with senior management and cross-functional teams.
- Hunger to learn new things and grow.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Chief of Staff or Executive Business Partner in a fast-paced environment, preferably in the technology industry.
- A desire to learn as you'll often be answering questions that have never been answered before, which requires a high level of intellectual curiosity and an eagerness to dive into new problems, domains, tools, and techniques.
- Extensive knowledge of Web3 ecosystem and products.
- An enthusiasm for all facets of Web3; staying on top of industry trends is a big plus.
