Singapore AUGUST ENERGY INVESTMENT CO PTE. LTD. Full time

Founded by highly experienced principals and backed by a European asset manager, you will be joining at an exciting time with an ability to meaningfully contribute to the growth and success of the business. This role will benefit from working in close collaboration with the principals across a range of activities including but not limited to fundraising, strategy, research, origination and transaction management. As a lean organisation, the role will also benefit from exposure to wider business management activities including finance, marketing, HR and IT.

**Key responsibilities**
- Support the transaction management process including conducting due diligence, construction of financial models and cash flow valuations, competitor analysis, opportunity-related market research, etc.
- Support the AE investment process including preparation of investment committee documentation, Q&A, presentations, reports, etc.
- Support business development and fundraising processes for AE
- Working in cooperation with other functions including finance, design & engineering, asset management as well as project partners to support appropriate project development, delivery and operations
- Gathering of market intelligence on sectors of interest to the business such as energy markets, new technology developments, customer decarbonisation and sustainability targets, financing markets (equity, debt, venture), etc.
- Business management support including reporting, marketing, HR, finance, IT, etc.
- Active participation in an entrepreneurial, international and dynamic team

**Job requirements**

We are looking for someone with a masters or similar degree, preferably in Finance or Engineering, and a passion for renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure. In addition, here are some attributes that are critical to the job.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to learn quickly
- A strong understanding of and mastering of financial concepts and products
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Initiative, ownership and accountability for allocated tasks
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
- Thoroughness and organisation
