**About the Company**

Founded in September 2021, Saison Investment Management Private Limited (“SIMPL”) is the impact investing arm of Saison International. SIMPL operates with the mission to foster inclusive growth in emerging and frontier markets by investing in sustainable solutions that enable fair and equitable access to resources.

Following a successful pilot in South-East Asia in 2020, SIMPL has now the mandate to scale its operations and further expand across geographies. SIMPL’s funds are to be deployed strategically to support the growth of innovative and inclusive businesses providing underserved individuals and enterprises with access to financial services.

SIMPL’s main impact goal is to foster inclusive growth. We do so by providing debt financing to specialized financial services providers, early-stage and tech-enabled companies that operate at the intersection of inclusion and innovation in emerging and frontier markets.

As an impact investor, SIMPL seeks to support companies that have proven traction of delivering affordable and accessible solutions and scale financial inclusion.

**About the Role**

SIMPL is run by a specialized, driven, and experienced team based in Singapore, responsible to source and diligence impact investment opportunities, assess and manage the risks and impact of those investments, as well as to execute and manage transactions.

**What You Will Do (Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs))**
- Conduct ad-hoc desk research on relevant topics, including country and industry related research, and market analysis involving regulatory and macro-economic aspects.
- Help with the sourcing of possible pipelines in the selected countries.
- Assist in the in-depth financial and desk due diligences of potential investments.
- Contribute to due diligence reports led by the investments team.
- Assist in the monthly and quarterly risk monitoring and portfolio management materials
- Support the elaboration of the Credit Committee Presentations.
- Responsible of drafting the minutes of the Credit Committee
- Collaborate with administrative tasks corresponding to the above items and other related to the expansion of Credit Saison into other regions.

**What You Will Bring (Skills & Qualifications)**
- Undergraduate/post-graduate degrees in any of the following: finance, business administration, economics/development, or related areas of study
- Strong interest in impact investing, economic development, banking, microfinance, fintech/alternative finance
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills are a plus
- Ability to take initiative and work independently, and willingness to learn.
- Final year students open to a full-time conversion are preferred.
