(Senior) Engineer, Data Mining and Analysis

**The Brief**

EVYD's Data Office department function as a centralized data middle platform to support the entire organization with high-quality, high-value, and standardized data. As a senior data engineer reporting to the Director of Data Office, you will run the data mining and analysis function and work with other teams throughout the company.

**Main things you need to deliver**:

- Deeply mine structured and unstructured data such as medical data, user behaviour data, and hardware equipment data to provide support for operations and business development.
- Build a data analysis system with dashboard indicators to collect, summarize, and analyze business data.

**You will also be responsible to**:

- Participate in the end-to-end data pipeline process from mining to analysis for business outcomes. This includes but is not limited to data processing, analysis, feature engineering, algorithm model design, evaluation, iteration,
- Support EVYD's project delivery and operation objective and stakeholder engagement.
- Keep up to date with cutting-edge technologies and explore their implementation in our systems and processes.
- Guide and train junior data engineers and support building and improving team capabilities through training, code reviews, etc.

**What you need for this role**:

- You should have more than 3 years of working experience in data mining and analysis. Having such experience in healthtech will be a plus.
- You must at least have a Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science and/or other related majors/
- You must have experience in C/B-end product operation data analysis and be familiar with common methods of data analysis and mining such as sequence analysis, correlation analysis, outlier mining, classification, clustering, etc.
- You must be proficient in data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI, etc.
- You must have strong analytical ability and writing skills and be able to independently establish analysis models and conduct special reports
- You must have have rich practical experience in SQL coding and performance tuning, be familiar with MySQL/Hive/Spark/Presto, big data processing, and in using at least one of Python, Java and/or other languages;
- You should have a growth mindset and a strong focus on excellence, collaboration, integrity and tenacity.
- You must have good communication and teamwork skills, a strong willingness to share, and can quickly understand new business scenarios.
- You must have a strong command of English. Mandarin will be an advantage to speak with internal stakeholders.
- You must either be based in our main country of business or be willing to travel there up to 50% of the year to train our teams and meet stakeholders.
