**About Our Client**:
Our client is a global leader in the manufacturing of top-line instruments and machinery designed for professional utilisation in the transportation sector eg. heavy duty, marine, automotive sector. This is an engaging opportunity with exposure to a regional portfolio in a dynamic, fast-paced with a close knitted team culture.
- Keeping full set of accounts for designated entities assigned
- Perform analysis of accounts and ensure timely monthly closing and financial reporting for selected APAC region entities
- Assist in the preparation of periodic accounting entries, payments and reconciliations
- Inventory management duties such as stock code creation, inventory adjustments
- Support forecasting and budgeting exercise as per corporate guidelines
- use of ERP systems such as Hyperion to execute reports
- Support and ensure compliance with all statutory finance and tax filing requirements
- Liaise with statutory bodies, banks, and other third-party business partners eg. auditors, tax agents
- Carry out and assume any other duties or responsibilities
**The Successful Applicant**:
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant book keeping experience ideally in MNC background/ ability to work in fast paced environment due to tight reporting deadlines
- Proficient in MS Office especially MS Excel skills
- Knowledge in ERP Accounting system will be beneficial eg. Epicor/Oracle/Sap etc
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Meticulous, possess initiative, independent, quick learner, good working attitude and able to multi-task
- Competent in both mandarin speaking and writing due to interaction with mandarin speaking stakeholders from Taiwan or willing to learn
