Your new job includes
- lead and support brand negotiations aligned to the Asia Pacific regional strategy set by the Head of Department in ensuring the most competitive terms and conditions are achieved.
- manage on-going relationship with brands in ensuring all Heinemann Retail and Distribution customers are being managed optimally.
- identify and analyse trends, including competitors’ analyses and industry news, to ensure that strategies and plans implemented are relevant and appropriate to market.
- manage open-to-buy and define merchandise strategies to meet financial targets and productivity metrics for performance, sales, inventory, receipt, and margin goals.
- provide technical and professional expertise when supporting new projects and tenders.
- inspire and motivate team members to achieve set objectives and drive positive engagement, resulting in building team members’ capability for growth and development.

What you should bring along
- A Degree in Business, or any related discipline with a practical experience of at least 5 years in Buying or Merchandising function of luxury or high end Fashion category, and strong knowledge of luxury products with Open-To-Buy experience and merchandising skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office such as Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook and Teams, preferably with exposure in SAP but not mandatory.
- Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills with proven ability to sustain long-term relationships.
- A strong and reliable leader with the ability to mentor and develop Team Member.
- A ‘can-do’ attitude, complemented by the capability to multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong business and financial acumen, attention to detail resulting in an organised day-to-day management of the team, and external stakeholders.
