**Job Purpose Statement**:
Responsible for day-to-day smooth operations in the despatch and client service sections.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations in despatch and client service sections in the laboratory.
- Implement operational plans and goals in line with company's policies and directions.
- Ensure that company policies and procedures are streamlined and followed and feedback to management on issues on ground level.
- Manage manpower resources and operating cost effectively.
- Train and guide staff in the despatch and client service sections.
- Lead and motivate the team to achieve target for turnaround time and goals set for despatch and client service sections.
- Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day operational issues.
- Work closely with business development team to resolve any client feedback on operational issues on laboratory services provided.
- Ensure that service standards are adhered to by the team, and take necessary corrective actions should there be any discrepancies
- Conduct regular audits on various aspects (test order registrations, consumable inventory, etc.) in operations.
- Ensure compliance to protocols and adherence to the standards set in terms of safety and quality.
- Any other duties as assigned from time to time.

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor degree, diploma, or equivalent in management studies or related field.
- At least 3 years’ experience in operations.
- Proficient in English and knowledge of other languages or dialects will be advantageous.
- Good interpersonal skills with pleasant disposition.
- Experience in service and healthcare industry would be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of diagnostic laboratory and related technologies will be advantageous.
