**Job Summary**

***The Purchasing Manager is responsible for all direct and indirect purchasing activities to ensure continuous supply of materials to Production. He / She will manage a team of Buyers for assigned customers and commodities. Continuously working on improving process productivity and efficiency through improvement activities, he / she will also work in cross-functional teams to drive Materials departmental goals. He / She will work directly with suppliers to manage supply assurance and continuously improve on cost, quality and on-time deliveries. Review all material requirements against sales forecast and inventory with internal and external parties of Venture GES to ensure company goals are met.

**Responsibilities**:

- Inventory control and management to ensure that the company is able to achieve the target set. Work with the respective stakeholders, TCS, planning,
- Production, warehouse and purchasing to ensure that every function is working towards meeting the department goals.
- To review and track cost reduction efforts and be the key focal point of driving the team,
- TCS, GSBM and Purchasing towards achieving both internal and customer cost reduction Target.
- Be the escalation point for purchasing in resolving material issues and management of Suppliers to ensure OTD and delivery of good quality parts to support production.
- Review, guide and gives approval to according to purchasing procedures, while delegating specific tasks, objectives and projects to appropriate subordinates.
- Perform supplier score card jointly with Quality Department. Work with individual Buyers to improve supplier score where necessary.
- Gives guidance and coaching to the purchasing team.
- Manage buyers to provide weekly feedback on plan buy to TCS and commodity team for action and closure.
- Ensure purchasing procedures, processes and practices are compliance to ISO 9001, 13485, 14001, FDA 21 CFR Part 820 QSR, EICC, regulatory and safety agencies.
- Any other purchasing improvement projects as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Computer Science / Business Administration.
- 10 years in the Manufacturing Operation or 8 years in Purchasing Environment with minimum 2 years in managerial position.
- Basic technical knowledge, appropriate Management skill & a clear understanding of Manufacturing operations.
- Must have the ability to take and work under great pressure.
- Must always maintain a positive attitude and positive thinking.
