Purchasing Manager

Manage the purchasing process including the buying, selling and
distributions aspects of the company.
- Reviews and processes purchase orders.
- Manages other members of the purchasing team.
- Communicate with the marketing and sales team to effect working
strategies.
- Maintains records of goods ordered and received.
- Negotiates prices and contracts with suppliers.
- Builds and maintains relationships with vendors.
- Selects prospective vendors and negotiates contracts.
- Evaluates vendors based on quality, timeliness, and price.
- Schedules deliveries and ensures timely fulfilment of orders.
- Researches and evaluates vendors to compare pricing and services.
- Coordinates with fellow managers to monitor inventory and
determine supply needs.
- Ensures quality of procured items and addresses problems when they
arise.

- Stays current with purchasing technology trends and oversees
purchase and implementation, as necessary.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
**Requirements**:
- Diploma / Degree / Professional Certificate in Business Administration
/ Management / Supply Chain / Logistics or any related course
- More than 3 years’ experience in purchasing / procurement
- Good negotiation skills and has good market and commercial
awareness
- People and Stake-holders management experience
- Working experience in automotive environment will be advantages
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Supervisory experience
- Immediately available or start work within short notice
