**1. **Assesses residents within 24 hours of admission.

**2. **Develops a nursing care plan and carry out nursing care based on care plan.

**3. **Assists in organising and coordinating activities directed at enhancing the quality of life of residents.

**4. **Accountable for the residents' personal hygiene, grooming and their activities of daily living.

**5. **Identifies and initiates appropriate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures.

**6. **Prepares and maintains proper and accurate clinical documentation.

**7. **Ensures safe custody and keep proper records for Controlled Drugs and Poisons.

**8. **Sees to the proper administration of prescribed medications and treatment.

**9. **Makes professional judgement and decisions in rendering nursing care to the residents according to individual's needs.

**10. **Supervises the enrolled nurse, nursing aides and healthcare assistants in the delivery of nursing care based on the care plan so as to maintain adequate standard of nursing care.

**11. **Guides, educates and trains new staff.

**12. **Co-ordinates with other staff members and update them on changes in the residents' conditions and needs.

**13. **Co-ordinates with other departments such as housekeeping and maintenance to ensure a safe, clean and properly maintained environment.

**14. **Evaluates the resident's response to care interventions on a regular basis and recommends revision of care plans as necessary.

**15. **Keeps abreast with the latest developments in the care of the elderly by reading nursing literature, attending lectures and talks.

**16. **Do shift duty and be on-call whenever necessary.

**17. **Any other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

**18. **Will oversee the ward matters and to train and guide Staff Nurse.

**19. **With working experience in nursing home

**Requirements
1. Possess a Nitec or Diploma in Nursing or equivalent recognised by Singapore Nursing Board.
