You will report to a hardware team lead for this position.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related qualification
- Min 5 years relevant Electronics Product cost optimization experience.
- Experience in design tools for Schematic Capture and PCB Layout
- Experience in board and system level design verification test.
- Experience in managing prototype build from BOM creation to build change requests.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising durability, reliability, and performance of components used in our products.
- Work closely with various departments, including Sourcing, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance, to ensure understanding of product optimization goals.
- Identify inefficiencies and work with team to lead product costs reduction.
- Experience with manufacturing processes, materials, and engineering principles.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks associated with component resiliency, which includes, design modifications, material & supplier selection, and process improvements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in component engineering, develop resiliency plans, and work with SSO & Component Engineering to provide a stable and reliable supply of components.
- Propose, drive, and implement continuous improvement initiatives of RA products.
