The Role
As a member of the Contracts Analyst Group, this position acts as a Business Partner serving our customers across the APAC region, both internal and external, with a specific focus on our China business. Our services are focused on the support of the sales cycle through the development of proper customer agreements in accordance with established Aspen Technology policies and procedures. These agreements will be produced in a timely manner to ensure accuracy and consistency with the Aspen Technology business objectives. This process relies heavily on collaboration with key stakeholders in Sales, Legal, Credit, Finance, and Customer Service.
Your Impact
- Draft software contract agreements.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the deal structure, from conception to close
- Develop and maintain product knowledge to assist in contract development
- Notify Sales when information needed to draft the contract is missing
- Assist contract approvers with queries that arise as they are in the process of approving
- Provide updates on the status of contract drafts, as needed, to stakeholders
- Ensure all necessary approvals are obtained and documented prior to release of an “executable” document to the Sales Team
- Meet established metrics for response time and accuracy of contracts drafted
- Participate in initiatives targeting improvement of policies and procedures
- Proactively monitor the workload queue to ensure all activities are assigned and/or addressed
What You'll Need
- Bachelor’s Degree with focus in Business, Finance, or Legal Studies
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Minimum two years of experience working in a contract analyst role preferred or similar experience
- Experienced in working in a team environment and possess a customer-focused approach to completing work assignments
- Strong knowledge and experience in using MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work beyond standard business hours and under tight deadlines, particularly at end of each quarter,
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities
- Ability to work well with limited supervision
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Fluent in written and spoken Mandarin Chinese and English
