Job Responsibilities
- Work with customer on Test Program Development and Implementation for new products.
- Interface with customer on product offloads and provide assessment and information on test capabilities and providing resolutions to barriers/constraint.
- Co-ordinate / Execute new product offloads plan.
- Define mass production test plan and test specification based on customer’s test requirements for production to support the product.
- Performs required test correlation, evaluation, and test characterization on new product offloads, and shall communicate to customer the test results or if any
- test correlation issues and resolutions.
- Support test hardware design and development for engineering activities and production ramp-up.
- Evaluate and recommend process change/s for improvements to help improve yield, quality, and cycle time
- Device and test software and hardware first level troubleshooting. Sustain test program, hardware and major setup issues in mass production.
- Provide guidance and training for Junior Engineers.
- Analyzing WIP profile to minimize constraints in equipment, process.
- To resolve or addresses production problems as they arise.
- Addressing issues that affect bottlenecks by working with various departments.
- Other ad-hoc activities assigned by the reporting manager.
Requirement
- Min Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or equivalent.
- 5~10 years hand-on experience in semiconductor industry.
- Prior experience in a semiconductor Probe/ Final Test/Post test environment.
- Direct experience in ATE and IC Test Methodology in but not limited to RF / Mixed-Signal / Logic products for ATEs like Teradyne, LTX, Agilent, Credence or others.
- Strong understanding of ATE Test Programming principles.
- Test Software development experience & skills, including knowledge of C/C++, VB, PERL etc.
- Experience/knowledge in new product characterization and qualification.
- Knowledge of statistical method and process control.
- Familiarity with quality procedure and documentation
- Familiar with measurement tools like spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes or vector analyzers is a strong advantage
- Strong verbal and written communication skill as customer interface is required.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement process enhancements and improved efficiencies.
